Why is the sky in the winter smells like water melon. or just sweet?

i opened my window just now and a gust of air burst in with the scent of watermelon.





what scientific reason does the air sometimes smell sweet in the winter.





it's like when you cut grass in the summer that kind of sweet smell.

I love that smell. In the desert where I live when it rains it has that sweet smell too. Ahhhh so nice.
Reply:When you smell your nose is a like little chemistry set. It can smell the chemicals or lack of chemicals in the air. If your home has heaters that add chemicals or the floor cleaners add chemicals your nose adjusts to them so you cant smell them . When pure air arrives your chemistry tester does another test and starts with the chemicals from the house in the tester.

Reply:Maybe it was your air freshener, those ones that you plug to the wall and when they get wind thrown their way the scent comes out even stronger! Lol, it is because it is God's work!
