Since your father is a skydiver I bet he'll be able to pull some strings and help you get in the air. Your mother should know by know that skydiving is something very special that fundamentally changes the person who jumps and becomes a jumper. I would suggest that if you have the chance to go to Europe to do that right now. It's a lot easier to jump in the States. You might only have one chance for Europe. I'm a skydiver too, and I'll recommend Europe right now.

Yes, your father can sign the papers and you should be able to jump, or maybe no papers, just jump. Skydivers form time to time will bend the rules. That depends a lot on the drop zone, you and your skydiver friends.

I hope you'll be jumping soon and we'll make some jumps together at a boogie!

Blue Skies! Black Death! and EFS!!!!
Reply:You probably can't. Wait two years, and go on a joint jump with your father.
Reply:I know it sucks but try to respect your parents wishes. They probably do a lot for you and obviously care about you and your safety. Wait 2 more years. You can do whatever you want then with or without their consent.
Reply:LA DEE DA DEE DA

just listen to her
Reply:Sorry, but I'll have to agree with everyone else here and tell you just to wait it out. I can totally see why you'd want to though...your dad is a skydiver, obviously loves it, and you're obviously a bit of a daredevil. :)

But, your mom is being safe, and it's probably for the best. It's a dangerous sport, people die, etc. Maybe there's another alternative??
Reply:are you always this spoilt?

Maybe your Mom has a prefectly good reason not to let you jump. Maybe the thought of her young and daring daughter going SPLAT, just doesn't suit her. If it were me, I'd be glad to push you out of the plane.
Reply:make your mom have trust in you and show her that you are responsible.
