and he's so sweet and i like him a lot. but he says that he will only slow dance ( no fast dancing). what should i do? should i try to convince him to dance or just accept it or what?

Lots of guys won't dance because they are self-conscious and think they look stupid. Slow dancing is safe and doesn't require flailing movements. This is not something you can fix in a day. He lacks confidence and that isn't something you just turn on like a switch.
I went to a dance with a guy who wouldn't do any sort of fast dancing, and so my girl friends and the boys that were willing to fast dance with us went and danced in a little group two or three songs and left the two guys that wouldn't back at the tables. They coped.

Hmm.. i think you answered your own question, sweetie? Why are you complaining? This guy wants to slow dance with you! That sounds like a shoo-in for me. :)
