Sweet 16 Birthday in January. I need some themes, and idea for a sweet 16?

My birthday is in Jan. and it's hard because its in the middle of winter. I thought of a luau but it's going to be winter would that be weird? I'm thinking 70-80 people.

Antartica party (Dress up as your favorite character; eg pengin, polar bear, fur seal etc). You could serve frozen foods (Ice machines etc) and lots of themed food and cakes.





Mascarade party (wear a mask until midnight)





Gangsta and Villans (Dress up as gangsta or villan) and have themed food and drinks to accompany it.





Dress up as the opposite sex... Men must wear a dress or skirt, Girls in mens clothes and beards.





Bollywood party...





Black and white party. Must dress up in only black or white. Food and decorations in Black and white.
Reply:how about u could have a bunch of ice sculptures. and one carved to look like you. you theme could be pretty in pink. and the guys wear pink tuxedos. that's hott.
Reply:I think a luau would be good. I mean your not going to have it outside so you can decorate like summer inside. I think thats cute. And happy birthdayy cause I most likely will not talk to you before that. Good Luckk!!!!! I don't think it would be weird.

Back when i was in High School my friend had her 18th birthday in winter her b-day is also in Jan. %26amp; it was awesome //// Over 100 ppl showed up... Thier were Hawaiin dancers and caterers and all..... it was fun.





The pics look awesome b/c the fact that it was winter and ppl still shoed up in shorts / grass skirts / coconut bras and bathing suits made the whole experience even more memorable.





So if thats what ur lil'heart desires....go for it.





Make it an Indoor/Outdoor Party it's ok.


:::::::::Tips:::::::: For outside / Indoor


-They sell these Hot lanterns at Home Depot / Walmart they keep so many feet around it warm. (u can always return them after cuz they might be a lil'pricy)





-If you have an outside patio / pool area: KEEP non expensive bright and color blankets/beach towels around for ppl to cuddle in.





-Have interactive cool games: (Ex: Make a group of boys change into a coconut bra and grass skirt w/aflower in their head and have'em dance like a Hawaiin.....have everyone else vote)





-Serve warm food!!!

*Hot Chocolate w/colorful marshmellows %26amp; an umbrella

Reply:i think that could deffinatly work but you have to remember that its going to be pretty cold so guests may not want to go all out on there outfit. you could do winter wonderland theme
