Sweet 16?!?!?!?

My sweet sixteen is in mid December. My theme is winter wonderland. I want it to be perfect. So I am planning in advance. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Sweet 16?!?!?!?
i say if you have enough money go all out and get ice sculputures, and rent swans if u have water nearby where your having the party(only if the water's not to cold)but if your on a budget get a balloon arch(light blue, silver, and white are nice colors) get a big snowflaked shaped cake and have snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, have fake snow on the ground and trees inside covered with the snow, have the waitess wear a skating suit and boots with bells that jingle as well as the waiters(not the outfit lol)and maybe you can rent a horse carriage for your entrance and decorate the hall also with white lights, and have snowman placed arund the place well hope this helps a little
Reply:Do you already have your venue and caterer? Be sure to book them far enough in advance! Also, if you're having a DJ, book them, too. You can have a white wedding-style cake, get that fake-snow stuff (you mix it with water and it expands). put it ALL OVER! but don't use it if you don't have enough. Have it at the enterance all around in heaps 4 in at the shortest to 8 inches at the tallest and clear a path for people to walk. Line it in white Xmas lights.
Reply:Well, if you're like me and come from a family with less funds than most, you can create some special memories with simple things like sledding (if you live in an area that gets snow) or ice skating (better than a dance!), and you can drink hot cocoa by a fire and make s'mores (odd mix, but delightful!). But definately book an ice skating rink. :)
