What Is The Best Hamster For Me?
Out of the ones you listed, I would say a Winter White, but I am biased as I have five of them. Syrians are also great pets, because they are bigger and usually easier to hold. Robos are probably a bad idea for you because they are difficult to tame and generally don't like handling. Winter Whites also don't bite like the closely related Campbell's Russian Dwarf.
Reply:Syrian Golden Hamster.

They are beautiful!

I had one once, and she was unique, she was like a little friend ^^,

She would run really fast on her wheel, turn round to make sure I was watching, then she'd go faster and faster (the little show off!)

She would wait at the cage door for me to let her out, she'd sit quite happily with me for a while, then she'd have a little nosey around my bed.

They can live upto 3 years, but it all depends on how much fruit and veg she has (:

Also, I worked in a petshop, and I found that Syrian Golden hamsters were the publics favourite - alot more syrian golds were sold than any other animal! And we had turtles, tarantulas, snakes, dragons, rabbits, guinea pigs, dwarf hamsters, winter whites, robo, rats, dumbo rats, gerbils, chinchillas, birds, mice and kittens. (:
Reply:I really love the Chinese dwarf hamster. easy to handle lets my kids hold him has never bit any of us. I recommend that getting them young. Mine was 2 months old when I got him. also if you want more than one of them get from the same group . I love this hamster hes the coolest. His life span is approximately 3 years not sure if thats long enough for you. But I'm very happy with him :)
Reply:I have 2 robo dwarf hamsters. I like them better. There small, they don't bite unless they get nervous (I haven't been bit), and there clean. Mine lets me hold him and he will sleep in the hand while I pet him. They live up to 3 years. Possibly longer if you keep it healthy.
Reply:syrian!!! syrian pretty much applies to everything you want! but be careful syrian hamsters do NOT like the company of other hamsters. unless you are trying to breed but that is a whole different story.
Reply:Syrian would be best for you. They liv 4 about 2-3 years....
