Untitled
Have you seen my roses?
Have you seen the winter pass?
I see the days gone fast as wild horses
That runs in the sweet green grass.
The spring brought lilies
Dozens of red roses bloomed,
I see the kids laughing so silly
That painful winter has gone so soon.
That summer was intense
As fire in a forest,
The rumors of love that comes from my neighbor’s fence
I fell in love with the son of a florist.
My love has gone last fall
He died of a broken-heart
Alone I started to bawl
Screaming is my entire fault until I broke apart.
Winter has come by
To console as I watched his grave
I never saw the roses like before, oh my!
My roses aren’t like he to me gave.
Have you seen my roses?
Have you seen the winter pass?
Is this the martyr that my life exposes?
No wonder, my life will never last.
